Examples of services that can be provided are:

  • arranging study visits to The Netherlands, training missions or internships;
  • running projects consisting of trainings, study visits and missions concerning content (e.g. analysing laws and by-laws including the associated organisational issues; the set up of a training institute etc.)
  • participating in projects.

The essence of services offered is the transfer of knowledge and know how in the areas of our expertise on Public Expenditure Management, Financial Management, Internal Control and Auditing. We believe that well equiped staff make the difference. Not only so with respect to their performance as such, but also because they are part of a network. Consequently, during our activities, we deliberately provide a platform for peer communication.

Thanks to our contacts within central government we may act as intermediate with other Dutch institutions active in adjacent areas of public administration, both at central as well as decentralized government level. (See LINKS)

In general, our approach is pragmatic. Dutch solutions for Dutch problems on e.g. public expenditure management or internal control may not work in another context. The historical path, the size and the culture differ from one country to another. Therefore, we will try to connect as much as possible with a country’s particular context.
