Matra training for European Cooperation Public Finance Management an ice cold success

During a two week training with 48 participants, warm friendships were made in the freezing cold of the Netherlands. The Dutch winter wonderland with snow outside and a warm atmosphere created by participants eager to learn and to share experiences were the ingredients of the training. The participants were divided into two subgroups given their field of work in Public Expenditure Management or in the field of the Tax administration. The participants acquired practical knowledge about the Netherlands and about Public Finance Management in the Netherlands from Dutch colleagues. Also some practical experiences were shared from the different participating countries by the participants themselves.

6.02.2012 A delegation of 9 civil servants and an interpreter of the Republic of Croatia visited the Netherlands Ministry of Finance for a second study visit organised by the National Academy for Finance and Economics. This second study visit was organised as part of a bilateral project supported by the Constituency Support Facility, to further develop the Financial Management and Control system in Croatia.
